Since it took way too many miles to get home from New Zealand, we found a flight that was half the points from Sydney, through Beijing. So why not!! Seeing Sydney Harbor and The Great Wall of China seemed like a great way to end our crazy trip!
So from Auckland we set out for Sydney. We had to laugh, the weather in Sydney had been perfect, until we arrived. We had chilly rainy weather. And we only had one full day in Sydney. The next morning when we flew to Beijing, the weather was perfect! Murphy’s Law! 🙂
Even thought it’s not close, we were excited to have a view of the Opera House from our hotel.
We set out to grab breakfast on the Harbor then cruise over to the Wildlife Sydney Zoo. Sydney isn’t an area you can hold koalas, but you can get close. So we chose to see koalas there.
You could also see Kangaroos
From there we went to Bondi Beach to walk around for a bit. We tried to see if we could find P Sherman 32 Wallaby Way, and visit the dentist from Nemo, but alas, there’s no such place.
That night we took a walk to see the harbor at night. What a view!
