When my daughters husband had a month long training trip to Cupertino, we just knew this was our opportunity to visit San Francisco!
We researched places to stay through Hotels.com and VRBO. We were finding it difficult to find an affordable option for our family. We had two of our adult children staying with us and our three younger children. Eventually we settled on what we thought was quite the adventurous option!
One of the VRBO places I contacted offered a us a great deal to split our time between their yacht in Emeryville, and the top floor of their home in San Francisco, we couldn’t resist the offer. Both provided great landing points for our visit.
We did Alcatraz, and Muir Woods.
Ate at the Stinking Rose and at Fisherman’s Wharf. We criss crossed our way through town visiting all kinds of amazing places. And our favorite was that bridge. Oh the bridge. My kids were rolling their eyes at me near the end of the trip, but I just couldn’t get enough! It’s so picturesque!
