Playa del Carmen. This was our first actual trip. Outside of visiting family and friends in San Diego. We got married young, at 16 and 18 years old, already pregnant with our first daughter. So for our 10th anniversary, now pregnant with our 6th child, we decided it was time for a trip!
We had been hard at work raising our little family, and had finally set aside some time, and some money, not to mention a babysitter, so we could take our first legitimate trip. Since this was our first, we decided to book through Apple Vacation and have it all taken care of for us. Airfare, lodging and food. It cost us a fortune! We cringe sometimes when we think what we spent on that trip. But, it was a spring board for all our other trips. And, how can you know which way you like to travel, and plan and pay for that travel, unless you try?

We decided to take two day tours, one to Xel-Ha, and one to Tulum. Both were excellent choices for us.

The rest of the time, we decided it was best to just relax by the ocean, we thoroughly enjoyed it!
