In 2009 we decided to take our two oldest daughters to visit Aunt Joy. Before she had gotten married the year before, she used to visit us every Thanksgiving so we were especially missing her this year. So we packed up to see Joy & Tim and visit Nova Scotia. What a beautiful area! We hit the fall color well and the weather was great! We really enjoyed our time there and looked forward to visiting again someday with our younger kids.
We drove out to Peggy’s Cove to see the lighthouse there. It was a cold day but the sun was shining!

We really enjoyed Halls Harbor where we could experience high tide, and then low tide.
