Some good friends of ours invited us to join them on a road trip to Mesa Verde. We planned a stop at Colorado Gators and
Great Sand Dunes National Park as well. We stayed at a KOA campground and planned our own meals around a campfire. A great end of summer trip before school started back up again.

The kids enjoyed passing the baby gator around, Laura, our youngest, wasn’t quite so excited to hold it.

We ended the trip at the Sand Dunes. We had sand EVERYWHERE. But we had a blast sliding

and rolling down the dunes back to the car. What an awesome trip it was.
