We decided to drag two of our dear friends with us and trek through some of Europe for our 20th anniversary. Trying to accommodate better weather, we went a few months after our actual anniversary. We met up in Chicago and flew together to London. Having never been, I think my expectations were a little high. The food wasn’t that great, it didn’t have the oomph I expected. But overall we enjoyed our few days there seeing what there was to see. We took a day and drove out to Stonehenge and then back through Oxford. It really wasn’t until we returned 2 years later with our daughter Leah that I really got to know London. And on that trip, I realized I really did enjoy it.
