Having become good friends with the Youth Pastor and his wife, we decided to help out with our daughter Leah’s Youth Mission Trip to Haiti. Having just come back from Europe with our older daughter, Lucy, the timing was a little rough. but once we were there, it was a wonderful experience. We stayed in a school and would travel everyday in a fun bus to help build a church/school. A lot of it was moving cinder blocks from person to person in a long line. It was dirty, hot work, but playing with the children at the end of the day made it all worth it. Their beaming faces were just adorable!
