Already being in Zion National Park, the day our friends volunteered at an animal shelter seemed like the perfect time to see the Grand Canyon. Jenna was just 2 and Jarod and Laura had never seen it. And since I’m highly allergic to animals, this was a good alternative for us. Plus, we got In-N-Out on the way back, something we can’t get in Denver!
The drive was worth it, and it was a beautiful day out for it.
