Since we knew we missed peak color at Maroon Bells, we went for a hike in Golden Gate Canyon. We had missed the color there too but the sun was shining and it felt good to get out and enjoy the fresh mountain air. I’m including a pic of this same hike from the year before, but in June. There are SO many Columbine flowers, it’s a gorgeous hike!
