My friend and I were trying to figure out a time for a girls trip but with kids in High School it was proving difficult to find just the right time. So instead we opted for a one night stay at Paradise Pier and a one day park hopper ticket to Disneyland. My friend is a pass holder so we took advantage of the friends and family discount, getting a 1 day park hopper ticket for $89! YESSSSS!

We had a marvelous room on the 14th floor. The view of California Adventure was incredible! I was convinced we’d have a great view of the fireworks from Disneyland too but I was wrong, you could just barely see them.

But the hotel pipes in the music and you can sit and watch them from the Pool level. They claim a rooftop pool, and it is, but it’s only a 3rd floor rooftop pool. Still, the fireworks were awesome from there.

We could park the car overnight and until midnight the following day so were set for parking while we were in the Park. It’s not something we can splurge and do every time we come to Disney, but for this one time, with my friend and our combined 4 daughters, it was awesome!! And, we enjoyed the fireworks in the park even more.
