When you’ve got a 5 hour layover in Copenhagen, you’ve got to go exploring, right? We grabbed another hot dog at Steff’s, jumped in the rental car and head out for some quick exploring. First stop, Nyhaven. We found a parking spot and spent a little time in the drizzle walking around. I’ll bet in the summer it’s an even sweeter stop.

From here we walked over to Amalienborg to see if we could find a prince for our daughter, but he wasn’t around that day.

From there it was off to see The Little Mermaid. We only had to wait a few minutes to get our chance at a pic, right when a swan swam by.

We used the rest of our time in Copenhagen to try and track down some of Thomas Dambo’s forgotten giants. We only had time for 2 but enjoyed them both immensely. If you’re in Copenhagen, I’d highly recommend the forgotten giants treasure hunt.
