Phuket was the surprise of the trip! We intended to go right from Siem Reap to Chiang Mai but because of a holiday in Thailand, we couldn’t make it happen. So, we thought we’d fly to Phuket and spend a few days there on our way to Chiang Mai. And boy are we glad we did. We stayed in an awesome 2 bedroom right on the beach. With some of the best food just steps down the beach! Yum! We hired a boat to take us to Banana Beach where we laid on the beach, enjoyed some of the best mango we’ve ever had, and snorkeled. Phuket was the relaxing middle to our crazy trip.

We also saw tigers here at Tiger Kingdom which we LOVED.

Then we did some shopping. Scored some cheap electronics and some delicious street food.
