The last time we went to Niagra Falls, it was Dec. And it was freezing! Of course everything was closed, and we didn’t even think to bring our passports, so we weren’t able to see it from Canada.
So this time, we made sure we did it right! The weather was perfect, and our hotel, on the Canada side, was great! We easily grabbed our passports and walked across the bridge from Canada to the USA side. We did Maid of the Mist first, which we really enjoyed. Didn’t really get wet on the boat, but we did walking up the trail that goes right up to the falls.

Then, we head over to Cave of the Winds. We initially felt like it was just clever marketing for something that was basically just like the trail we walked after Maid of the Mist. Boy were we wrong! Cave of the Winds really lets you get close to the falls. At one point you can stand under part of the falls and feel the sheer power of it all, it was incredible!

Just a side note, be careful if you set your bag town to take a picture on the top Hurricane deck. It just might float away! We caught a fellow tourists bag just before it was swept away!
